These twins are irresistible!  This portrait depicts a three month old brother and sister snuggled up together.  I love the way the little boy opens his mouth in the image to imitate the smiling face of his parents.

The way the sun illuminates Face #18 is so beautiful.  The boy in this image is fishing with his dad and brother on a hot summer afternoon. His expression is so intent and focused  - I love it.

Don’t you love a child’s sense of humor? The adorable boy in Face #17 sneaks up some “devil horns” right before his mom snaps his picture.  You can tell how satisfied he is with this goofy gesture!

Week 12: Face #12

Ah…to be two years old again!  I love the look of pure joy on a toddler’s face at play.  The portrait for Face #12 was rendered from a photograph of this happy little man playing with his trains.  This portrait captures a momentary break from playing with the train-set to flash an adorable smile towards mom.

I love the playful expression and gesture of the little boy in Face #11. There is nothing better than when your baby gets to an age where he or she can really play with you!  Face #11 captures a moment of play where this sweet toddler waits in anticipation for Mom or Dad to throw his ball back to him.

This baby face is irresistible!  Face #9 shows the intent concentration on an infant’s face during play.  This portrait is based on a lovely photograph where sunshine floods through a window, illuminating this sweet face.  Such a great moment!

You can see the pure joy and excitement on this little girl’s face!  Face #8 depicts a moment captured during an outing to the zoo. Nothing is more exciting than seeing your child completely captivated and enthralled by an experience such as this.  I love the awestruck, happy expression.

Week 6: Face #6

I love this image!  As a parent, there is nothing better than seeing your baby’s angelic face the first thing in the morning (especially if your baby is happy and well rested).  Face #6 portrays the moment when a child first sees his mom or dad upon awakening.
